Welcome to AfroVybz! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our application and services. By registering or using AfroVybz, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use AfroVybz. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Use of the Service

AfroVybz allows users to:

• Participate in polls
• View poll results

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to:

• Tamper with or abuse the platform
• Attempt to access other users’ data or impersonate others
• Use bots, automation tools, or interfere with the app's infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these rules.

3. User Accounts

To participate or view saved results, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account if you share your credentials or fail to protect them.

4. Data & Content Ownership

By using the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your data to operate the service and generate anonymized insights.

We may sell or share aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., overall voting trends) to third parties for business or research purposes. This data will never identify you individually.

5. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, especially if you violate these Terms or abuse the platform.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy, except anonymized, aggregated data which may be retained for research or analytics.

6. Modifications to the Service

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We’ll try to notify you of major changes, but we’re not obligated to maintain backward compatibility or offer prior versions.

7. Disclaimers

AfroVybz is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or error-free service
• Accuracy or usefulness of poll content or results
• That participation in polls will yield specific outcomes or benefits

You use the service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AfroVybz and its owners are not liable for any damages related to:

• Loss of data
• Service interruptions
• Unauthorized access
• Third-party use of anonymized poll data

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you’ve paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.

9. Governing Law

We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 in processing and securing user data collected via the App.
